Industry Leading Technology
IGI has been a leader in Large Area Grayscale technology since 1973 on glass or flexible material up to 40" x 60"
IGI's grayscale phototools are manufactured, using various techniques, for a wide range of applications and when your application requires
other specialty tooling we will gladly subcontract the appropriate services.
Rarely is the production of Grayscale phototools standard. It is usually an iterative process with changes in both the phototool
design and the manufacturing process.

IGI's Physicists, Engineers, and Programmers have years of experience that allow them to fully understand your application and reduce
the time, frustrations, and iterations of development that are normally associated with production using grayscale phototools.

Grayscale Phototools fall into Three Basic Categories:
Continuos Tone
Any and almost all desired densities are possible on the same phototool without any distinguishing lines, patterns, pixels, or dithering.
Multiple Density™
IGI has developed Multiple-Density™ chrome phototools, which are a few desired densities are on the one phototool. The densities are smooth and continous without any dithering or pixelation.
Dithered/Binary
The shape and position of micro geometries are varied to create a grayscale.
Total Solutions
IGI's total solutions also include a variety of Specialty Services,
Custom Solutions, Vacuum Deposition,
Photoplotting,Glass Products,
and Assembly of our precision graphics with other components to supply subassemblies when
your time is the most valuable commodity.
Programs with attractive pricing structures and “just-in-time” delivery schedules to
reduce inventory costs are available for customers with large quantity needs.
